Enjoying the island of Crete, Greece!

Crete Heraklion Sunrise by Carmen Gloria

I have been in the BEAUTIFUL island of Crete, Greece for over a week now, hence the reason why I have not been writing in the blog. I have been working, but it has been promoting my second children’s book “Dear Pluto“, which is currently a #1 New Amazon Release in Children’s Astronomy Books!

The hard work has paid off, but I still have a lot of more work to do. I also need a break to actually enjoy the island. It is lovely here and it reminds me a bit of my home island, Puerto Rico sometimes.

I have been taking morning walks at the beach, which is a 3-minute walk from the hotel. The main picture in this post is from one of the sunrises here. I won’t be writing much more after this because I need to go back and relax. I will be posting more about Crete in another post after we return to Norway.

I’m just happy to be away from cold Norway. It was still only about 20 degrees Celsius there before we left, and recently my mother-in-law said she was at her summer cabin at 16 degrees and rain. I need heat in the summer and would not be too happy if I had to spend an entire summer with no heat. So, thankfully we were able to come here for part of the summer.

Okay, gotta run… until next time and wishing everyone a great summer!
