"The Mars Novella" wins Best Writing, Producer Awards & receives HONORABLE MENTION

Pérez joins the 2024 Four Points Film Project where filmmakers have 48 hours to write, create and edit a short film. She took a book IP she has been writing and experimented into making a short film version of a portion of it with the given requirements, such as a line, a prop and optional use of power. The Mars Novella won Best Writing and the Producer Award. The Mars Novella has also received an HONORABLE MENTION with Project Odyssey.

"Flower Of The Valley" wins Photography & Best Score Awards

Carmen continues to experiment with AI to explore short ideas without access to funding and locations. "Flower Of The Valley" is a short biographical documentary about the inspiring true story of Ana Roqué Geigel de Duprey—a trailblazing educator, botanist, writer, and rebel astronomer - from late 19th to early 20th centuries in Puerto Rico. It won the Photography Award at Burano AI Film Festival in Venice, Italy - October 2024 & the AI Film Awards in Marrakesh, Morroco - December 2024 Edition.

"The Trial" wins 2 Awards

Carmen's latest experimental film (first with artificial intelligence) AI Short Film "The Trial. "It has won Best Produced Short Script at the AI International Film Festival - July 2024 & Best Animation at Cinetech FutureFest April 2024. Also an Official Selection at the AI Film Fest Amsterdam & screening at the Burano Artificial Intelligence Film Festival.
